The position will be ideally suited to someone with extensive experience in swimming pool construction and/or preferably, swimming pool servicing industry experience, who is looking to move into a sales and management role.

An excellent package is available for the successful candidate and includes a competitive basic salary plus commission and performance-related bonus.

With over 30 years’ in the industry we have a vacancy for someone who is experienced as a engineer looking for a hands on managerial role.

The role is to work within the installations team on commercial and high-end residential projects as an operational lead.

Your tasks will include:

  • Working on the sales/marketing element of the business to drive new business.
  • Have a good knowledge of industry equipment and latest design practices.

  • Good problem-solving skills and knowledge of specifications.
  • Liaising with the team of engineers.
  • Construction knowledge relating to types of pools.
  • Plan out weekly/monthly schedules.
  • Create customer quotes – working from scale drawings and CAD designs.
  • You will be expected to work off drawings indicating pipe runs with an expectation that you will assess and plan routes, design plant room layouts.
  • create layouts and fit plantrooms with appropriate valve arrangements.
  • All engineering works involved with the installation of swimming pools/hot tubs and associated installations.
  • Ensuring all compliance documents are fully up to date and in full order.
  • Carry out the installation of pool chemical dosing equipment as required.
  • Installation of pool liners.
  • Procurement of subcontractors and management control.
  • Regular stock checks and ordering of material/chemicals etc.
  • Driving license (required).
  • Able to produce RAMS for contract works.
  • Hold current CSCS card – ideally supervisor card.
  • Ensuring invoicing and purchases are managed to maximise profits.
